About Us

Dr. Lydia Heays is a licensed dispensing audiologist and co-owner of Songbird Audiology PC. She has 12 years of experience between her clinical practice and 5 years working for a top hearing aid company. Dr. Lydia is passionate about bringing hearing healthcare to everyone regardless of age or lifestyle and making services more accessible. Her range of experience has allowed her to become a well known and respected name in the Los Angeles Healthcare Community. 

Dr. Lydia is from Santa Barbara and loves the California coast almost as much as she loves her dog. She earned her undergraduate degree from Portland State University and her Doctorate in Audiology from AT Still University in Arizona. In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors, cooking vegetarian meals, spending time with family and friends, being creative, yoga, music, and living in the moment. 

Joy Lehrfeld is Practice Coordinator and co-owner of Songbird Audiology. She received her BA in Environmental Studies from University of California Santa Cruz and is passionate about improving patient’s hearing so that they can enjoy the outdoor adventurous activities
