We charge our affordable rate by the hour and the duration of your visit depends on purpose for the visit, which will be discussed when making the appointment, Payment due at time of service.

The Day of Your Appointment:
Songbird Audiology values your privacy and respects your space that you share with us. We are grateful to be guests in your home during our visit and are committed to your comfort, safety, and wellbeing.
We arrive at the scheduled time and will bring everything we need with us, Please be prepared to provide: quiet area, internet, and access to power. It will take a few minutes to set up the equipment.
We start with a discussion regarding your overall health and hearing health history, and any concerns, Your thoughts and opinions are essential as hearing health is very personal.
If we are testing your hearing, we start with a few tests that objectively measure the physical functioning of the ears. You'll sit quietly through these tests and don't need to do anything! Then we will have you listen to some beeps and repeat some words.
After testing is completed, we will review the results together, explain clearly and patiently, and answer any questions you or your family members may have. You will receive personalized recommendations for next steps and follow up if indicated by test results. We will also review any recommendations for follow up with ENT Specialty, Primary Care Physician, or other relevant provider. You will be given printed copies of all test results with easy to understand interpretations
More time with the doctor is always available (additional appointment(s) may be necessary depending on schedule). Phone and video Appointments are usually available same day and are billed at same rate.
Whatever your personal hearing goals are, we will work towards them together as a team.
Payment is due on the day of service. Superbill will be provided if you wish to submit to your insurance provider.

Follow Up & Next Steps
If you are a hearing aid candidate, your next step is a hearing aid evaluation and demonstration of new technology. You are in expert hands!
Other potential follow up recommendations could include use of hearing protection, annual testing, testing every few years, monthly testing (mototoxic monitoring), tinnitus management, & ENT, Psychology, or other Physician follow up. This is not a comprehensive list and personalized follow up instructions will be given at time of appintment.
